Our Purpose

We strive to not only teach women and men how to recover through the classes we offer, but also to prepare them to  become mentally, physically, and partially financially stable for their future through our educational program.

Our Mission

Captive Hearts is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of hurting and addicted women by extending by providing targeted rehabilitative services that better facilitate a successful return to their families and the community.  We strive to help women, our main focus, break the chains of underlying causes that lead to incarceration and recidivism.

By “Bringing Healing to Hurting Humanity“,  the women we counsel and mentor realize their dreams as they move into their destiny.  Our goal is to teach them how to recover, how to break free from their addictions and grief, anger management, and how to set boundaries in their lives–tools they will need once they enter back into society.

Prison and Jail
Captive Hearts makes weekly visits to the San Luis Obispo County Jail to provide guidance and support to those in need.  We also work with
many legal agencies.

Recovery Home
Our purpose is to extend unconditional love and grace to those who are in need of inner healing, including those affected by abuse, addiction
and a chaotic lifestyle.

Captive Hearts
We make every effort to assist the less fortunate through our various outreach programs.  Our office is open daily to welcome both scheduled appointments. Come meet our staff!
